Black Cohosh Side Effects
Black cohosh should never be used during pregnancy, possible pregnancy, or lactation, as there has been a case report of neurological issues in a post-term baby when both black and blue cohosh were used. Other unwelcome outcomes have reportedly occurred, as well.
Women who have or have had breast cancer, or are pregnant, should especially consult with their doctors, as it may be unsafe for them personally to use black cohosh.
No interactions between black cohosh and prescription medications have yet been reported.

Autoimmune hepatitis
Breast cancer
Constipation
Diarrhea
Dizziness
Gastric problems
Fatigue
Headaches
Heaviness in the legs
Hepatic dysfunction
Increased bleeding during menstruation
Liver damage
Low blood pressure
Nausea
Pregnancy complications
Seizures
Slowed heartbeats
Sweating
Vomiting
Weight problems
